ARC Health Care Management Consultancy are very conscious of the invaluable work that charities do in the field of continence.
As a business, we would like to give something back to those charities, as much as possible, and we have decided to donate a set percentage of our events profit to some chosen charities.
Further down the line, we intend to set up a fund that will be used as grants for students working in our field of study.
The first charity we will be supporting is the Bristol Urological Institute (www.bui.ac.uk) who provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching on urology as well as supporting and developing urological research. They are a small team of dedicated professionals who continue to push boundaries. Ann Winder, our director, worked with them when they first started out in Urodynamics in a small hut in Bristol.
We will inevitably be offering funds to other charities in the future and are happy to take submissions and suggestions for funding.
